In addition to maintaining the day-to-day operations of human resources, she also integrates principles concerning organizational cultural properties. She provides training and development platforms to meet the needs of each respective employee across multiple disciplines. She believes that optimizing internal customer service standards is the foundation for delivering high-quality customer support in serving the community/customers. Previously, Dr. Govan operated within the contract administration discipline for both nonprofit and for-profit organizations. This included working with national account managers and negotiating the best pricing for products and services within the health care industry. Dr. Govan provides consulting services to beginners in the workplace up to executives who are confronted with challenging behaviors that shape organizational culture and climate. She continues to conduct research that focuses on the significance of organizational culture and its impact on internal customer service levels. She serves as an advisor concentrating on relationship building, personal branding, and professional development. She is also instrumental in delivering services that include customized writing, presentations, editing, and leading educational platforms. She serves as vice president on the board of directors for LEAP-- Literacy and Education Applied with Purpose, a nonprofit organization that believes in advancing the educational experience of students. Dr. Govan believes that providing excellent customer service to all stakeholders is the nucleus of each interaction and yields inevitable success. |
