Ryan D. Jeffery, M.A., ICAE
Director, Visitor Services Saint Louis Zoo Mr. Jeffery has 20 years of experience in the Attractions industry. Starting out as an entry level Conductor at age 17 on the Historic Zooline Railroad at the Saint Louis Zoo. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Film, as well as a Master’s Degree in Communications Management, both from Webster University in Saint Louis. Having found his passion in the Amusement Park Industry, as well as in a Zoological setting, he has remained at the Saint Louis where he now oversees Visitor Relations/Experience, Ride Operations (Train, Carousel, 4D Theater), Parking and Traffic Management, General Admission Ticketing Programs, Photo Programs, Caricatures, Face Painting, Attractions Maintenance, Non-Food Vending Programs, and Employee/Visitor Shuttle Programs. Additionally, he is the facilitator for the Saint Louis Regional Visitor Services Committee, and serves on several committees for the International Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions (IAAPA). He recently at the start of 2017 received IAAPA’s highest level of individual certification, Certified Attractions Executive. |
