Master Chief Philip Jimcosky reported to Coast Guard Cyber Command, Centralized Service Desk on 7 July, 2018 as the Unit Command Master Chief. The Centralized Service Desk is comprised of 38 active duty members and 78 contractors utilizing ITIL Service Operations principles in support of all aspects of the Coast Guard's Enterprise computer network, enabling worldwide maritime operations and mission support.
Additionally, Master Chief Jimcosky is the Chief-of-the-Mess for the Greater Upper Mississippi River Consolidated Chief's Mess consisting of 84 Chiefs, Warrant Officers, and Civilians. Master Chief Jimcosky is a native of Scranton, PA. He enlisted in the Coast Guard in 1996. His previous assignments include Coast Guard Pacific Area (PAC-6), Telecommunications Information Systems Command -Alexandria Virginia, Communications Area Master Station Pacific - Pt. Reyes California, Electronics Support Unit Seattle Washington, Electronics Support Detachment Moriches New York, Coast Guard Cutter Woodrush- Sitka, Alaska, and Coast Guard Cutter Matagorda - Miami, Florida. Master Chief Jimcosky's personal awards include the Coast Guard Commendation Medal, Coast Guard Achievement Medal and other personal and service awards. |
