Customer Experience Strategy for Success
As the firm’s first Chief Operating Officer, Mark is responsible for the leadership of all construction operations related functions and charged with ensuring the achievement of safe, profitable, and quality work in a manner that fulfills the S. M. Wilson Core Purpose. In partnership with S. M. Wilson’s President and as a member of the Executive Committee, Cochran is heavily involved in strategic planning, developing new market strategies, high-level financial decision making
and planning and developing company-wide systems and processes.

Mark Cochran began his career at S. M. Wilson & Co. as a summer intern during college. Throughout his tenure at S. M. Wilson, he has held the positions of field engineer, project engineer, project manager and Director of Field Operations before becoming COO in 2017. Mark is also active in the community. He sits on the board of the Central Institute for the Deaf, has donated his time to build three houses for Habitat for Humanity, provides financial and construction
assistance to the underprivileged and is engaged in the Kidstruction fundraiser for St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
