Ginger Wilson was named Director of the Business Transformation and Requirements Service, effective September 30, 2019. In this position, Ms. Wilson leads the modernization and sustainment activities of its information technology, communications, and information management systems and processes, serving as the liaison between the Office of Information Technology and the National Cemetery Administration (NCA).

Prior to this position, Ms. Wilson served Veterans and their families as the Director of the National Cemetery Scheduling Office and the Deputy Director of Field Programs, where she was responsible for all scheduling and eligibility activities for the NCA.  Ms. Wilson began her career with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in 2008 with the St. Louis Regional Benefits Office, serving as a Military Services Coordinator, Management Analyst, Veterans Service Representative, and Claims Assistant. Ms. Wilson also supported the VA as a Program Analyst and an Investment Manager.

She led strategic initiatives such as data sharing, electronic claims processing, and the electronic service treatment record programs. Ms. Wilson served as the Project Lead for the enterprise-wide Financial Management Business Transformation modernization effort to convert the financial, acquisitions, budgeting, and grants management systems to a shared service provider.

Ms. Wilson, a United States Navy Veteran, was stationed at Naval Air Station Norfolk, USS Hunley (AS-31), USS Emory S. Land (AS-39), and Naval Submarine Support Facility New London. She earned a Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Business Management, associates in Secondary Education and an Associates in Advanced Technology Electronics.

In addition to serving on the Missouri State University Customer Experience Advisory Board, Ms. Wilson also supports Webster University as an Adjunct Professor and Course Lead for Advances in Project Management.
