Fred Martels is an experienced business executive and Strategic HR professional with a proven record of increasing organizational effectiveness by developing a workforce culture where employees are engaged and passionate about providing compelling customer experiences and extra step service to internal and external customers.
As a senior human resource executive, Martels spent over 25 years creating systems and processes that propelled Dierbergs Markets in St. Louis, MO to nationally recognized leadership in the retail industry. Through his leadership, Dierbergs was recognized for Best Practices in Motivating and Retaining Employees and for Exceeding Customer Expectations. For over 10 years Fred served as President of People Solution Strategies, working with organizations who wanted to build employee engagement and increase customer loyalty to grow their business. The key to growth was aligning inspiring leadership and human resource initiatives, with organizational purpose, mission, vision and the customer experience, the results being increased revenue and profit growth. Fred is currently is working with Midwest Petroleum who own 60 convenience stores in Missouri and Illinois. He is developing and implementing initiatives for providing inspiring leadership that fosters employee engagement and designing customer experiences that compel customers to rave about their experience, recommend Midwest to their friends and reward them with their loyalty.
