Cristina Ciorna is the Director of Learning and Development at Midland States Bank, bringing more than 10 years of experience in her field. She leads all activities related to training and employee development including high potentials, leadership development, compliance training, and training analytics. Her focus is on leading corporate wide initiatives while working closely with the business unit leaders to develop programs targeted to their individual groups.

Cristina assumed the responsibility and leadership role over the culture development and she chairs the Culture Coalition group that aims at expanding and aligning culture efforts at Midland. Prior to joining Midland in 2016, Cristina was the Employee Development Manager at Southern California Edison, a large utility company in California. Cristina earned her MBA in Leadership and Organizational Development form the University of La Verne in California and her MA in Education, Instructional Design from California State University San Bernardino.

She has also received various certifications in coaching, human resources, organizational design, project management from University of Southern California, University of California, Irvine, and other professional institutions.
